I began writing and reading poetry live at the age of 15, starting with reading at the Shakespeare Tavern and later the Empire Tavern. It's appropriate for me to acknowledge the support during that time of four wonderful women - Olwyn Stewart, Raewyn Alexander, Rosella Hart and Kate Nicholls.

After a long hiatus I returned to writing and performing poetry in 2017. Here are a few poetry projects since then;

Datscha Radio

Poet in residence

A series of poems derived from interviews with allotment gardeners. Datscha Radio was awarded the Blauer Bär prize by the Berlin Senate.
